Welcome to Rare Silhouette ("Rare Silhouette", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of products offered through our online store. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund & Replacement Policy, Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy and any other policies published on this website.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.
1. About Rare Silhouette
Rare Silhouette is a design studio creating contemporary lighting and home objects. Every product is individually manufactured after an order is placed unless otherwise stated.
Because our products are manufactured to order, production timelines, finishes and minor visual characteristics may vary.
2. Eligibility
By placing an order you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract.
- The information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to accurately display product specifications, colours and finishes.
However, due to:
- screen calibration
- ambient lighting
- photography
- manufacturing processes
Actual colors may vary slightly from images shown online. Dimensions are approximate and may vary within normal manufacturing tolerances.
4. Nature of Manufacturing
Every Rare Silhouette product is manufactured individually after an order is confirmed.
As each product is produced individually:
- slight layer lines
- minor texture differences
- subtle color variations
- handcrafted finishing differences
are inherent characteristics of the manufacturing process and shall not be considered manufacturing defects.
Each product is therefore unique.
5. Orders
An order is considered accepted only after payment has been successfully received and an order confirmation has been issued.
We reserve the right to:
- decline any order
- limit quantities
- cancel suspicious transactions
- refuse orders that appear fraudulent or abusive.
6. Pricing
Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without prior notice.
Price changes will not affect confirmed orders that have already been paid for.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated during checkout where applicable.
7. Payment
Orders must be paid in full before manufacturing begins.
We currently do not commence production without successful payment confirmation.
8. Manufacturing Timeline
Production begins shortly after payment confirmation.
Estimated manufacturing timelines are provided for planning purposes only and are not guaranteed delivery commitments.
Unexpected delays may occur due to:
- equipment maintenance
- material availability
- quality inspection
- production volume
- force majeure events.
9. Shipping
Shipping timelines are estimates only.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the shipping address.
Courier delays beyond our reasonable control do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
10. Cancellation
Orders may only be cancelled before production has commenced.
Once manufacturing begins, cancellations cannot be accepted due to the made-to-order nature of our products.

11. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Because every product is manufactured specifically for each order, we generally do not accept returns or provide refunds for:
- change of mind
- incorrect colour selection
- accidental purchases
- buyer's remorse
- delays caused by shipping carriers
Replacement or refund requests are assessed only in accordance with our Refund & Replacement Policy.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Warranty
Eligible products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Warranty coverage does not extend to:
- accidental damage
- misuse
- improper installation
- modifications
- water exposure
- commercial misuse
- normal wear and tear

13. Product Care
Customers are responsible for:
- proper installation
- indoor use unless specifically stated otherwise
- using compatible electrical components
- following supplied care instructions
Damage arising from improper handling is not covered under warranty.
14. Intellectual Property
All content available on this website, including but not limited to:
- product designs
- CAD models
- engineering files
- photographs
- renders
- graphics
- logos
- trademarks
- product names
- text
- website design
is the exclusive intellectual property of Rare Silhouette unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rare Silhouette shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages
- consequential damages
- loss of profits
- business interruption
- loss arising from misuse
- improper installation
- unauthorized modifications
- third-party courier delays.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Force Majeure
Rare Silhouette shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters
- floods
- fire
- pandemics
- government restrictions
- strikes
- power outages
- supplier shortages
- transportation disruptions
- acts of war
- cyberattacks
During such events, affected obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event.
17. Website Use
Users agree not to:
- misuse the website
- interfere with website security
- attempt unauthorized access
- upload malicious software
- infringe intellectual property rights
- use automated tools to scrape website content without permission
We reserve the right to suspend access for misuse.
18. Privacy
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication on this website.
Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
